When was the last time you played B-T?
A bit of a small question, but since B-T was just re-released on the Live Arcade today, I was wondering: when was the last time you played B-T (and by play, I mean actually finish from start to end)? I suppose you can tell us if you're planning on buying the arcade version, too.

I have to reach back a bit for this one, because I honestly don't remember when the last time I completed the game was; I know it's definitely been a few years, though (maybe 3-4), so it's been a while for me. Because of that, I've really been looking forward to the re-release (downloading now!). Hopefully I can find a reasonable amount of time to sit down and play it (probably this weekend).

So, how about you guys?

I haven't finished it since I first got it. Probably 4-5 years ago.

Do not underestimate the power of pie.

Umm, yesterday! I'm currently at Grunty Industries. I didn't realise you were supposed to use the train station, actually! I was using the glitch the whole time because that's the way I've found it.

The first time I played this, I couldn't figure out how the hell you were supposed to get in. In my furious rage, I burst into tears and cried for nights on end. Determined to succeed, I failed and gave up. This failure still haunts me to this very day. The rest is, as you say ...you know what, never mind. I don't know where I was going with this. Just forget it. (But what is that glitch, by the way?)

Anyway, playing the port today. I'm up to Glitter Gulch Mine so far.

The glitch is where, you get down to one honeycomb, and you stand on the puddle next to the entrance and fire a clock-work kazooie egg into the window right above the main door. You wait until the monster is about to attack you and then you detonate the kazooie right during the room transition, respawning Banjo inside the factory.

Ooh, that sounds like a rather complex method of discovery. Tongue

Anyway, I just opened up Jolly Roger's. Pokin' along, I'd say.

Still at Jolly's Lagoon. Curse my bad habit of starting things without finishing them (I should really get back to completing this someday...). Tongue

The only thing I can finish is what's on the dinner plate. Biggrin
