To whom it may concern: I am, sadly, going to close Banjo Universe for now; whether that will be temporary or permanent is not known at the moment. I would like to thank those of you who have continued to visit and have posted on the forums, and I would also like to thank Greendrag and Fish Paste for their continued help and support on various aspects concerning the website. I will leave the site to remain as is, and will still touch in every so often to visit the forums, but will no longer be updating at all (the fact that that has already appeared to have happened should give you enough insight as to why I am making this announcement). I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent working on the site for the nearly two years that it has been online, and will hopefully return to it someday with a much greater ambition and enough knowledge to readily create something truly unique. Until that time, goodbye, and thanks again for everything, everyone.

Well, I enjoyed my periodic visits to this website. I wish the best to your future projects, assuming there will be some, and such. Since my visits were rather scarce, I cannot properly say goodbye and mean it with full vigor. Hopefully you will create something much better in the future that I could more actively participate in.

I know I'm very late with this- I'm incredibly inactive on Rare community websites nowadays- but yeah, I also enjoyed visiting here... much prefer sites like these to faceless newsreels, that strive to give you the latest news, but there's no personality whatsoever- no jokes, no community involvement, nothing original. Just news stories. It's a shame really- BT Hive has gone, this place has gone, I haven't touched my site in eons... the community isn't what it used to be.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I, like most would I'd assume, greatly prefer originality, with a more personalized environment when it comes to a website as well, Genius. While I may have stayed in the background most of the time, I did enjoy visiting BT Hive and the Fishbowl quite a bit, often feeling greatly delighted when a new update would arise, as most would remain specific to that site alone. It seems like sites like those are often short-lived, though (at least in the B-K community), not because they can't attract visitors, but because the creator usually loses interest after so long, which I agree is a shame.

I would also like to add that, it's in part due to RWP and Spiral Mountain. It's like Wal-Mart and Target chain stores. They are huge and established, and shut down local business (RF, BT Hive, Banjo Universe, etc.) due to a large draw of people. It's sad, because there's really no way to compete.
